The county of Razgrad is situated along the valley of the Beli Lom river from south-east to northwest, in the central part of the north-eastern Bulgaria. The county of Samuil is situated in the north-eastern part of Bulgaria. This county is located in the eastern subregion of the geological area of the Danubian plain. It is characterized with plain, sometimes hilly, and plateau lay. The climate is moderate continental, with four distinctive seasons, favouring the intensive development of agriculture. The county of Isperih is situated in the very heart of the Ludogorieto district, at important crossroads. The climate is moderate continental, with hot summer and cold winter. On the territory of the county there are numerous small artificial dams, rich in fish. Their water is no suitable for drinking.
